The common Nail problem faced during the Manicure.

As a professional nail technician, you will follow a three-part procedure for all service you perform. this sequence includes a pre-services function, the actual procedure and a post services function. Here are a few common problems you may encounter during the manicure;

1.A finger of loose skin left around the nail after a manicure can be caused by trimming the cuticle close than necessary and then rolling back the epidermis. To prevent this, trim the cuticle only enough to allow a tiny margin to remain.

2.Callus growth at the fingers can be softened by the application of creams and lotions. Gentle rubbing with pumice powder or an abrasive is also aa good way to begin the process of removal.

3.Stains on fingernail may be bleached with prepared nail bleach or peroxide. You may also remove stains by slightly dampening pumice powder and using it to buff the nails.

Remove all residue from the nails by washing and drying the fingertips. If a clear liquid polish is used, buffing is not required. If polish application is requested, apply a base coat and a clear top coat, followed by instant nail dry. Satin or matte polish is available if you’re your client prefers. Apply polish in the same manner as for a plain manicure. A cirrus or musk-scented hand cream, rather than a flowery one, is recommended for a man’s hand massage.
