 3.Saline Injections; Saline injections can help lighten existing tattoos. Saline is a completely sterile solution of sodium chloride in water. In a very simple procedure, the saline is injected into an existing tattoo. Sometimes, this can work to break up the tattoo effectively making it fade, the benefits of getting saline injections are that they involve almost no risk if performed properly, are much less painful than other methods, and are minimally invasive. 5.Dermabrasion; another extremely invasive tattoo removal procedure is known as dermabrasion. This procedure involves the use of a spinning disk that basically grinds layers of skin away. Generally, dermabrasion is not the first procedure recommended for tattoo removal. Unlike excision, dermabrasion usually require several sessions to yield results. and while it takes only seven to ten days for the scabbed over skin to heal, it will remain visibly red or pink for two to three months.
