Curly Hair other types of hair influence Hair Design Decision - Party 3

Curly, fine hair; if this hair is left too long, it could separate and reveal too much of the clients scalp unless the hair is abundant. It will respond well to mild relaxer and to color. Blow-drying could be difficult unless the hair cut into short layer, but if the client is going to be in humidity the hair will just end up curly again.

Curly, medium hair; this creates a wide silhouette, and looks romantic if left natural. Shape the hair appropriately, keeping in mind where the weight line of the haircut will fall, and make sure that where it falls will be flattering to the client. The wide silhouette should be in proportion to the client’s body shape and not overwhelm it. This hair responds ell to relaxer and color.

Curly, coarse hair; This hair needs lots of heavy styling product to weight it down. It is easy for this hair to look as though it overwhelms any client. Keep in mind while cutting this combination that the hair will shrink considerable when dry, making it appear much shorter to the client.

Very Curly, fine hair; The most flattering shape for the client must be determined, and then for easy of styling- the hair is generally best left short. If the hair is left log. The silhouette will be a wide and extremely voluminous. Chemical services take well, but be careful with relaxing, as the hair could be fragile. Hair pressing (temporary straightening) is an option, but do not overdo it.

Extremely curly, medium hair; This silhouette can get very wide, as the hair can look wider, rather than longer as it powers. Chemical relaxers work very well to make the shape narrower, and hair pressing is a good option, too. Thermal styling could follow the pressing. Ifthe hair is left in its natural states, cropping close to the head in flattering shape is great for case of styling and low maintenance.

Extremely curly, coarse hair; This silhouette will be extremely wide without proper maintenance., chemical relaxing is recommended, if not to straighten the hair, then to relax it enough to make it easier to style. Once this is often too thick to tie back in ponytail, so if the client does not want any chemical services, try short, cropped layers to make the silhouette narrower.
